The runways were filled with young creative design spirit by the student designers!

The runways at Colombia Moda 2013 were filled with fantastic student designers who were fearless in present a series of runway shows geared towards specific themes. Designs reflected an outer space, futuristic theme while other shows students present three key looks which would fall in the ready-to-wear category. Every fashion week, watching the student runway presentations are always a highlight. So young and so creative! Oh those crazy loveable kids!

Here are more fun highlights so far for me:

*Got interviewed by Spanish media about the student runway shows.

*Took in the grand finale by Sylvia Tcherassi (noted as the next Carolina Herrera) along with Medellin’s highest society at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Don’t forget stay tuned for exclusive coverage in our new Fashion Travelogue-Medellin Edition. It will have detailed Runway reports, interviews, street style and more! All direct from Colombia Moda 2013, Medellin Colombia!  oxh.

Check out these spectacular accessories all geared towards raising funds for third world nations. Feed Project’s fashion movement just released their “Feed India” Campaign. I love when fashion and humanity connect. The possibilities are endless.

More from www.FeedProjects.com

“FEED began in 2006 when acclaimed model and activist Lauren Bush designed a bag to benefit the United Nations World Food Programme’s (WFP) School Feeding program. As a WFP Honorary Student Spokesperson, Lauren visited countries around the world in Asia, Latin America, and Africa where WFP is operating and was inspired by the plight of the people she met on her travels. She took a special interest in WFP’s School Feeding program, which feeds and educates hungry children. She first created the FEED 1 bag, a reversible burlap and organic cotton bag reminiscent of the bags of food distributed by WFP, to help raise funds and awareness around these school feeding operations. It was stamped with “FEED the children of the world” and the number ‘1’ to signify that each bag feeds one child in school for one year. And in 2007, FEED Projects LLC was founded by Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson to produce and sell these bags…”
