Military Funk

Fashionista: Shriya Pancholi

Location: Leicester, England

Breakdown: In this photo, I’m wearing camel combats with elasticated cotton cuffs and detailing, cropped, oversized RUDE top and black vintage military boots. The outfit is topped off with a navy and mustard beanie and vintage Submarine sunglasses.

Secret: Military style has always been in, and always will be. Experiment with different aspects of military clothing including trousers, shoes, jackets and tops. These clothes can be loose or fitted; it just depends on the look you’re trying to create and achieve. I always say, comfort is key and my outfit really is comfortable. I don’t usually wear beanie hats, but today I thought I would experiment with one, and I actually liked wearing it (plus it kept my head warm). Don’t be afraid to throw on items that do not match. Fashion is for creation.
