Impeccable tailoring with subtle metallic embellishments were some of the looks shown during Sunny Fong’s runway presentation on Day 1 of World MasterCard Fashion Week. A diverse selection of models ranging from sample size to the average size woman strutted and struck a pose to the sounds of M.I.A. and Iggy Azalea for Toronto’s fashion elite and trend spotters. The most inspiring was a mature model (Amy Palmeiro-Winters); who wore an elegant custom designed prosthetic cover designed by Alleles Design Studio.

Fong’s collection labelled “1001 Nights”, was a fusion of Middle Eastern influences mixed with sleek chic and modern style. The collection was cohesive and featured the right amount of edge for ready to wear and glam for the red carpet.
