ERRE

As part of this brand’s mantra of exploration and travel, this season’s Fall/Winter 2014 line fully embraces the colourful and textural world of Morocco, Spain and Africa all enhanced by vibe of French luxury and “Russian adventure”. Silhouettes are sharp and slim, with key usage of gorgeous leather as scalloped detail in a capelet or buoyed by brilliant cuts as seen in their opera-length leather gloves and slick shrunken jackets.

Ludwig Bezuidenhout

Ever since his graduation from Durban University of Technology, and currently based in Pietermaritzburg establishing own ready-to-wear label, Ludwig Bausch, Ludwig has been collecting accolades and experience along the way. This season’s inspiration is Dolly. Yes, that Dolly, the cloned sheep. With his preference in using light materials, focusing on a futuristic aesthetic, Ludgwig takes the idea of repetition and applies it to key looks, cuts and details.

SOBER

Tshepo Mafokwane, is the head designer of Sober. Having graduated in fashion design and manufacturing from the Technical University of Tshwane, Mafokwane celebrates the worldly woman. This season’s inspiration is drawn from the military world and pitting it up against soft lines, giving it a unique overall silhouette.  Antiqued layering also brings about an urban feel.
