Pedram Karimi

Born in Iran and having spent his formative years in Austria, Pedram Karimi’s perspective of fashion has a very romantic and practical tone to it. Having launched his first collection this past April 2012 this follow up best showcases his unique take on the art of being minimal and playful. His Spring/Summer 2013 collection boasts on the androgynous zone emphasizing that gender doesn’t dictate the direction of one’s style. This mixing of subcultures while being inspired by surroundings is his continuation of his first collection.

Nisse

Launched in 2004 in Istanbul Turkey, this Montreal native, Nargisse E. Akyuz, enjoys the blending of an urban world with a poetic flow. Offering up a modern day version of tales of two cultures, she takes her views from both worlds and combines them to create  a variety of loose-fitting and structured cuts bringing functionality to a whole other level. Her Spring/Summer 2013 is inspired by the modern woman with generous use of lace and prints as well as the liberal doses of primary colours which adds another element of playful elegance.
