It’s almost that time of the year again when we pack up those tents, load up the beer and meet up with others to see our favourite bands. Yes, festival time is almost upon us! As the weather is so changeable, it can be difficult to find the best outfit to take with you, but there are plenty of options around to keep you looking stylish all weekend. We explore South Africa’s cool online store Zando for some great fashion tips!

Denim Shorts

Denim Shorts are on trend at the moment, and can be worn in different ways depending on the weather. If the sun is shining, you can bare all and wear them as they are or wear with a pair of tights if it’s cold and miserable. Stick to the original denim, or go for some brighter colours to create more of an impact with these shorts.

Skinny Jeans

Skinny jeans are a hot style at the moment, and there are lots of bright colours to choose from to really make you stand out from the crowd. The great thing about these jeans is that you can tuck them into your wellington boots to create the perfect festival look.

Hunter Lace Ups

Wellington Boots

These boots are essential footwear for festivals as they will keep your feet protected from the rain and mud, if the weather is a bit miserable. You don’t have to stick to the standard boring green boots; there are plenty of styles and colours on the high street to choose from. Wellington boots are so popular now that there are even styles with lace ups and belts, so your fashion doesn’t need to suffer with the weather.

Slogan shirt for her

Slogan T-Shirts

Show your love for your favourite band by wearing a slogan t-shirt with their name on it, or choose from any other slogan t-shirts to show your mood. Wear it cropped for the summer weather or keep it long if the weather is dull and drab.

Denim Jacket/Waistcoat

Denim is as popular as ever at the moment, so why not finish off your outfit with a jacket or waistcoat.  You can find a range of cropped jackets in bright colours and the waistcoat is a nice alternative to the jacket.

Play Suit

Playsuits are very flattering for most body shapes, and are a great piece for wearing to festivals to keep you stylish. Styles can range from the halter-neck, cross-over strap and many more. Floral is on-trend at the moment, as are any bright colours. You can even team them up with a pair of tights when it gets cooler.

Leggings are a good piece for festivals as they’ll keep you feeling comfortable and can be worn with almost anything. The key to remember with leggings is that you should wear a top that falls below your waist, as otherwise you could be baring too much! These are also ideal for wearing with your Wellington boots.
